Caridad Center Appoints Rochelle Pascual to Board of Directors

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — Caridad Center, South Florida’s largest free and charitable clinic, is pleased to announce the appointment of Rochelle Pascual to its Board of Directors.

Pascual is a Business Analyst III at Florida Power & Light (FPL), where she supports business operations through financial analysis, process improvement, and strategic planning. Since joining FPL in 2024, she has advanced rapidly through multiple roles, demonstrating a strong commitment to operational excellence and continuous growth. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Palm Beach State College.

As a member of Caridad Center’s Board of Directors, Pascual will lend her expertise in business operations and finance to help advance the organization’s mission of providing high-quality, comprehensive healthcare and human services to uninsured and vulnerable residents of Palm Beach County.

“Rochelle’s analytical mindset, business acumen, and passion for serving our community make her an outstanding addition to our Board of Directors,” said Laura Kallus, CEO of Caridad Center. “Her professional expertise and genuine commitment to helping others will be a tremendous asset as we continue expanding access to care for our neighbors in need.”

Pascual was first introduced to Caridad Center through a community partnership with Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League and later attended Caridad’s Passport to Caridad Event. She was inspired by Caridad’s mission and reminded of the values she was raised with, and knew she wanted to become involved.

“From my very first introduction to Caridad Center, I could see the incredible impact it has on our community,” said Pascual. “The mission deeply resonated with me because it reflects the values I grew up with: helping others and being part of something bigger than yourself. It is an honor to join the Board of Directors and support an organization that changes lives every day.”

Originally from California, Pascual moved to Palm Beach County during middle school and is a graduate of Palm Beach Gardens High School. Her appointment marks her first nonprofit board service, reflecting her commitment to giving back to the community she has called home for many years.
