Caridad Center is thrilled to announce the launch of its Mobile Eye Clinic, an initiative set to revolutionize vision care accessibility in the Palm Beach County region. This significant step has been made possible by the generous support of the Brother’s Brother Foundation.
The new mobile clinic will enable Caridad Center to extend its reach into communities like Belle Glades, Pahokee, and other underserved areas, providing free vision exams to those who would otherwise have limited access. This comes at a crucial time when more than 20% of all school-aged children in the U.S. face vision problems, with underprivileged children being disproportionately affected.
